Instead I am forced to watch the neighborhood resident homeless man shake his money maker on the corner for some change as I sit here and go through these photos.. praying silently to myself that he will catch the beat to the music any moment now.
This year, the party line up was crazy.. Def Jam had a star studded event, BET hosted a party of their own, as well as the usual ongoings of Fete's, parties, and the parade itself. Here are a few of the pictures from KING & QUEEN OF THE BANDS 2009 at Lamport Stadium and the official 2009 Scotiabank CARIBANA Parade at CNE Grounds & Lakeshore Blvd.. more pics to come.
Seeing as how Big brother has dropped happy pills in my cup, I shall keep my comments to myself.. Especially the one about the girl on the right in the second to last picture... Only I can prevent forrest fires so I will keep my will power strong..
*Dabbing myself with Holy Water as I hum "why do I feel like, somebodies watching me". (Okay so its really tap water that I stole from the homeless man, but if he believes it's holy why can't I?) *
