Follow DJ Norie in Real Life: Caribbean Summer Concert Series at Great Adventures NJ, Saturday July 11th, 2009

For all the Soca lovers who call and cuss if the Soca segment on "Anything Goes" gets cut short.. Saturday July 11th, 2009 is the big Caribbean Day at Great Adventures.. last year was pure madness with Machel Montano, and there was roast corn and jerk chicken all over the park. It was like Labor day all over again, so I expect this year to be nothing less.. Shout out to Ms. Raine who powered the Press Party last week in NYC.

Deemed the "one day ultimate Caribbean Vacation", this event did so well last year, that it is just the first of a Mini tour taking place at the Great Adventure theme parks. The line up includes
‘Soca Queen’ Alison Hinds; Trinidad’s 2009 Soca Monarch, Groovy Monarch, People’s Choice and Road March champion Fay Ann Lyons; Billboard topping Soca sensation Kevin Lyttle; Internationally recognized Soca star Rupee; Bunji Garlin; Iwer George; Burning Flames; Pumpa; and Blaxx. But note- you can only get access to the arena if you purchase tickets from the ticket outlet, not at Great Adventures!
