Fuck Effort- Vibe Magazine is Closing

(courtsey of Rap Radar Magazine)
So yet another source of black culture is biting the dust.. and sadly, with all the fuckery that is going on in this cover of Vibe featuring The "sm-medium Jacket" Dream and his "blonde in a bottle" Christina Milian, I gotta wonder who really making the decisions up there?
*sigh*

Now I know what it means to be careful what you wish for. I mean, I know I made fun of The Dream and his take of extra cut close clothing, but that dosent mean I want to see him without it!

Why must you make me cry?

Getting back to Vibe, a spokeswoman released a statement on Tuesday indicating that Vibe would be shutting down offices immediately. I still think they should have done like The Source and just vacated the offices under the cover of night with no known forwarding address and a note that says "my bad- it was real." Real Gansters do real things.

Apparently Quincy Jones, who founded the Magazine in 1992, is extremely angry about the closing of the magazine, and the total direction that it was taken in once he sold it. Quincy stated that he has plans to buy the failed media outlet back and take it completely digital.

You know, growing up, I had a neighbor who's 40 year old son lived in the basement, had no ambition and only came up to buy weed and get food..
I'm starting to think he had the right idea..
